Edible weeds! These little gems are known as "creeping cucumbers," melothria plendura, aka "Mother of all Laxatives," whose crushed leaf smells like cucumbers. Light green ones are allegedly edible (we ate some and survived), but the red or black ones are toxic. There's something for your salad . . . or not.
